The WOOFF Writing Week took place from Tuesday 10 February to Friday 13 February 2026 in Goor, hosted and funded by OPO Hof van Twente.
The week began on Tuesday with the arrival of the participants, who were welcomed in the city center by the managing director and Erasmus+ coordinator of OPO Hof van Twente, setting a friendly tone for the days ahead.
On Wednesday morning everyone gathered at obs de Boomhut for registration, a welcome speech, and an icebreaker, followed by a short overview of the day’s goals. Participants then split into groups per school to observe practice and exchange ideas, before regrouping at the OPO office to reflect on what they had seen. Late morning featured short presentations on how DAC is shaped in each school, after which the group continued working together at the office over lunch.
In the afternoon, expectations for the week were clarified and teams worked intensively on improving their organization descriptions, using feedback from the national agencies. The day closed with shared reflection and a session on the one-health principle, alongside practical coordination to keep the week running smoothly.
Thursday focused on project deep-dives: Jasper and Nalan presented the project and feedback, Riki explained the needs analysis and intended deliverables, and Maisie introduced supportive outputs such as podcasts, a museum concept, and a website. After lunch, Sandra and Richard connected the work to research and inclusion, and the group moved into parallel writing sessions covering work packages, interventions, evaluation, timelines, and the literature review. The day ended with a transfer to the city center and a group dinner at Tentje Teman in Enschede.
On Friday the group presented the WOOFF Lab Week concept in three parts and worked on how to organize lab weeks in each country, before final input on the needs analysis and literature review. After a last lunch at the office, the week concluded with goodbyes and departures, closing an international collaboration that brought together the future partners from the Netherlands, Austria, Denmark, and Poland.
